Stuck on Level 29 corners

There are two glass boxes in the bottom corners of this level that I can't break.

I got 3 jewels in a row but the glass doesn't break.

I did the pointy jewels that blast the entire row & they didn't break.

What am I missing? I'm not going to buy a boost since I'm just trying to reach the 6th island to get gems for my 2 favorite team lava games - if I have to spend real-world money, I may as well buy the gems in my other games

I'm doing the same - just going for island 6. It sucks that you can't see the level without paying one energy for it, but I did pass that one (still need 2 more stars to open up area 6). If I recall, I think they are double glass and take two hits. It took me a few tries, but I know I used a diamond to finish it off.

Just be patient and keep trying. I haven't used any boosts so far and it's by sheer determination and perserverence that I'm on level 36 right now.
