No, city metro is more pleasant without gifting. No stress just creativity.(in my opinion)

Yes that would be nice. It would be great to be able to gift some of the parts of buildings you have to ask friends for help with like wiring or fixtures as well, kind of like home design story. Then you may not have to ask your friends for so much stuff all the time. You can have a little surplus of stuff that's been gifted to you already.

A gift system like in hotel, dragon and monster would be nice. (give max 3 gems a day.)
Or like in castle. (give max 3 items a day.)
No if there is no max you will get more gems��
I wish you could gift gems
The daily limit for receiving materials/permits is very frustrating. So a gift system to receive more of these items would be a very welcome addition to the game!
