No, they just have to be placed on the rack/table, you don't need your customers to buy them.

Yes I'm sure, just like "serve" in RS/BS means to place on the counter from the appliance. They don't say "serve" in Fashion, they say "sell" as serve wouldn't sound right. LOL

Don't they rather say "display"? At least this is what they say in goals.
Some have "Order" and the goal is done at the moment you order the catalog, and other say "display" and then the goal is completed at the moment you display the catalog.
Now here, they say "sell", so that's why i was wondering..
