Sped up an adventure hoping for that bat. Didn't get it. Then it dawned on me: if I get it from an adventure, it's free. If I get it for gems later, it would only cost once. But now... If I don't get it from the adventure, it's the bat cost anyway plus what I just spent. When you get all your gems in-game without real money, you slap yourself in the forehead EXTRA hard for pulling something like that. >.<
Today i idiotically/accidentally sped up a Simple Glue with 50 seconds left to finish. Fortunately it only cost me 1 gem.
With sleepy eyes, I accidentally spent 10 gems to speed up a purple cow, just to receive 40 coins in return. If I could receive something instead of money, I wouldn't regret that so much.
Actually thought I had a chance of getting a Glimmerbat :/

Jtm101, I did something similar. Only that I was maxed out on the item already..
When I first started the game I cut down all the trees and mined all the rocks thinking that would trigger quests. AFter painfully creating 10 lanterns to expand I clicked on skip, I was after magic garden and it turned out I expanded wrong section. Oh the pain!
Me too, sometimes eager to come and have a good laugh which is quite idiotic by itself!
Actually I need to search info here, but was addicted to come in to have a look.
