It's a game with monsters that don't exist....with that in mind what's the problem? Realistically creatures grow over time and don't evolve from things like apples. Living on a mountain is hard and dangerous...cramped living space for monsters...fact that some of them fly...that we can breed multiple monsters thst look exactly alike...monsters never excape even though they are not caged in....fact that they are coceived after long time with no time to actually form the baby (2 monsters in the den suggest one thing only...only takes 1 to grow a baby) that they hatch within a max of 2 days...my point is nothing about this game is realistic in any kind of way
Also if you are going to apply logic to this game then think about how any monster can breed with any monster. Yea... I won't explain it.
You should avoid applying logic to games and movies. It is called suspended disbelief it is very important.
