    Enough Is Enough

I have been playing Dragon Story for several months now. I love the game that is why I have been playing it. I have put a ton of money into the game through the in app purchase of gold. I have worked very hard and I have a number of the super and ultra dragons, so I was very excited when team lava came out with new dawn, and the white dragon breed. And to make it even sweeter we were given boosts that made our habitats spew those precious coins that allow us to feed our dragons. We even got better farms that gave us a way to get more food. Expensive? Yes, but not so bad with the boosts to our habitats. It still only cost at most 5000 to get our dragons for level 9 to the epic level 10. Difficult? Yes, but it would only take a couple hours at most. Then the expanstions and foliage clearing. Again, expensive, yes, but not so bad when you are able to get the coins at faster rate. Life in the dragon realm was good, a bit hard at times and of course it took time to get that extra space needed to add more habitats. But it was good. Then came that 5 minute maintance. Now, our habitats can hold more coins, but it takes forever for them to climb up. The coin production slowed, but the prices of food and evloving did not slow, no instead they went up. Now instead of it costing 5000 to get your dragons from level 9 to level 10, it will cost you 1500 just to get a whit breed one notch of the 5 need to get from level 6 to level 7. Can you do the math on what it will cost to get from lv. 9 to lvl.10? I just don't want to. It takes 800,000 to clear one tree after waiting for 2 days and paying 250,00 to expand. The price of the food that is need to make this 1500 5 times, leveling up our dragons, and expanding our lands have gone to a rediculous high. Isn't it enough that the econemy in the real world is up, do we have to deal with while we escape the real world too? This is a strong arm tactic used by team lava to force us to spend more money buying gold so that we can buy those coins or that food. Look at the way you have to speed your development up. The only way is to use gold. The only way to get enough gold is to buy it. Sure if you have enough neighbors who send you gold you could end up with a whole 26 pieces a day. But really who has that many neighbors giving them gold on a daily basis?
So, when is enough? When do we say shame on you to team lava? I say now is the time. I love this game as I said before, I play it all the time. I am level 62 have all my diamond breeds and most of the new white ones, but I am no longer going to be bullied into buying gold day after day.

    Thank you.

BRAVO!! I am not a long time player, but I have spent more real money on this game than any other I have played. I love it!! And Im a little obsessed at this point. But from all I have read on these forums regarding the cost increases in higher levels, I can tell that Im not going to be obsessed for much longer. Im irritated at 75k for clearing a rock and 150k for a tree, and I hear a 990k boulder is in my future?!? No way! TL will not get another dime from me until this is brought to reasonable levels. Thanks for your post. I agree that we need to start making some waves.

To level the light dragon from 9 - 10, it is actually 9,000 pieces of food each time. 45,000 food... just for going from 9 - 10. If you are using the 5 hour, 75,000 food option for 800 food per... you are making 4,600 food every 5 hours at the cost of 450,000 coin (so: 920 food/hour at 90,000 coin/hour). At that rate, it will take you just under 49 hours at a cost of 4,410,000 coins to level your Light dragons from 9 to 10 (assuming that you have enough gold to purchase that food option every 5 hours).

I downloaded Farm Story when it first came out in 2009 and never paid for anything for the whole time, got to lvl 54 and expanded the farm almost as far as it woild go. I only stopped because my i phone couldn't handle the later updates and I didn't have an i pad then. My point is..TL learned lessons about their players from the early games that they developed and now they use every strategy they can to get as much cash as they can..very astute business. There are players of Dragon Story that will spend a lot of money on gold to get the latest dragons and be the first to do so,so TL are on a winner. Why on earth would they listen to our concerns???

Yes, there will be a portion of new players like myself that will spend money when they begin game. But when they realize they cannot afford expansions, clearings, and feeding dragons; therefore unable to actually DO anything ingame for days and days, they will simply quit. It's simple... It's a game and when its not fun anymore, you stop playing. Any good business cannot sustain itself on always finding new customers. The bread and butter of a good business is loyal repeat customers. I have seen MANY high level, long-time players that are totally frustrated and angry that TL has essentially removed any motivation for them to continue playing, i.e. spending money on this game. *

And apparently Team Lava has the means to satisfy a large majority with a boost "bug" that they removed recently. If enough say "Enough is Enough" and stop spending their money on DS, hopefully TL will realize that it's not "good business" to alienate your loyal customers.*

I found glitches in the game that can gives you money, food faster and clear trees and rocks instant after expansion... i can grow 40,000 food in less than half an hour as long as you have money to do it. Making money faster depends on how large your island is...

I was one of the first to get the higher food amounts to feed the white dragons to epic. For me, and now most of you it takes 144 225 food to get ONE white dragon from lvl 1 to epic. If you use the most expensiv food whit the upgraded farms the dimonades (or what they are called) it will cost you a little more than 13,5 milijons of silver money but it will be the fastest way to do it, if you choose to grow the less expensiv food it will be cheaper but take you longer time. If you uses the fastes and most expensive food it will take you 150 hours to grow it (and you still will be missing 225 foods). In days that is 6 days and six hours. So no matter what you do, if you don't buy gold to buy food, it will take you about one whole week to get one white dragon from lvl 1 to epic.

As stated befor on this forum there is a way to come around this crazy amounts of food the white dragons need, i just don't feel comfy writing it again, probarbly they will fix it so it's no longer possible.

I also, now, have a little less amount of food for the original light but the hybrids are all the same high amounts.

all this calculations are based on that you have six farms to grow food, if you have less or less uppgraded it will, ofcourse, take you longer.

I really was going to keep this to myself but Ill go ahead and share because what TL is doing is WRONG. You can get the OLD food cost by using the OLD app. Just feed your Light dragons on your OLD app and not on the New Dawn app.

It will not sync up right until you evolve the dragon to the next stage but as soon as you put it the the evolvution temple it will sync up on both apps.
