Removing items from inventory

I have some excess items in my inventory and was wondering if there is a way to sell or delete?

Supplies that help build things (little hammer on the pic) or items you receive as gifts can't be sold or deleted. However, any items you purchased can be sold. You just have to put them out in a room and click on them and you'll see the "store, rotate, or sell" button. Just hit "sell" and their sold.
