What happened to stormies city?

Is it just me or am I seeing stormies city go down to population of 20?
I went in to check it out and it's so small????
I thought stormie is suppose to be a demo city, and I remembering it being so nice and big!!
I'm currently on iOS iPad

They downgraded it a few weeks ago. I don't know why. Maybe because it was too big for some older devices?
Now it just has three wonders (chrysler, guggenheim and liberty) and a few shops and homes.
It says 20 population, but in fact it has 12 homes for a total of 290 population.
The 20 population is an error.
The city also has a community population cap of 740, or 2990 with the wonders, much more than needed. And it has way too many shops for only two greenhouses and no other industry. The city doesn't make any kind of sense.

They did downsize stormies game because the older devices were having crashing issues when visiting.
