Perhaps information on room dimensions will come in useful? I only have these:
Chic Bedroom - 4x6
Gourmet Kitchen - 6x6
Kids Room - 4x8
Walk-in Closet - 4x4
Grand Hall - 10x12
formal dining--4x10
The building materials for the 4x4 room must have changed when the room names were changed. The last one I built require 4 different materials, not the 2 materials listed above.

Seems the new rooms require request materials and not gift materials.
