It doesn't seem like wallpaper gets stored the way it does in RS and BS.
I tried out a new paper and hated it but when I went to replace it with the default wallpaper I had to buy it all over again.

Nvm, apparently there's a completely separate tab for storage. Still adjusting to this navigation
The wallpapers should function the same way like the other games. If you place a new one over the current wallpaper, it'll go to Storage. It looks like for Home Design, instead of seeing the count (x1 or x2), you have to go to the Storage tab first, which looks like a blue room with an arrow pointing down. You might have a lot of wallpaper in there since you were buying new ones for a while, haha.
Speaking of wallpaper, what happened to the awesome black and white patterned wallpaper? I was saving to buy it and now I can't find it!
Are you looking under the right tab? It's still available for me.
I've looked under all tabs, am I blind? Which tab is it under?

Yikes sorry my mind was stuck on the storage dialogue. I'm looking at the wallpaper tab now and it seems now the damask wallpaper is missing for me too O_O
That's funny! Because mine is back now! I think it unlocked again when I reached a certain level. What level are you on? I'm on 10.
8, but after browsing the wallpaper I see it's now locked. Weird since it was available before!
