Expired quest and not cleared after paying gold

1) the athletic dragon quest got expired
2) i click pay 24 gold to clear the quest
3) gold was minus, but quest still there
4) i click pay 24 gold again to try clearing the quest
5) total of 48 gold bars gone and quest still there
6) i click cancel quest
7) quest is gone and 48 gold bars are missing
