    But with speeding evolution up using gold?

    A friend of mine is having trouble speeding up with gold. It just gives the monster back, taking the gold. The monster is still the same level as before it was put in the totem.

    This sounds like the issue other players were having. I believe this is fixed now, just uninstall and reinstall the game from the app store and it should fix it.
