Appliance Slots

Hi, I know that the maximum slot for appliance is 18 which is at level 73. If I buy an appliance slot for 49 gems before reaching level 73, what is the maximum slot I have? 18 or 19?

19.. You can have 18 free slots, plus an unlimited amount of purchased slots.

I am currently level 40 and have 10 appliance .. ive read that there are 18 free slots which can be unlocked until level 74 .. what if I bought one with gems when i havent reached level 74 yet? will it be considered as one of those 18? will i still get another free slot when i reach level 41?

Yes, the gem slots are extras and will not interfere with your regularly scheduled upgrades. I know that I opened lots of extra slots back when they were only 25 gems and it never stopped the pre programmed ones from opening as I played through the levels. That's what makes them extra and worth the gems. I feel pretty safe in saying that when you reach level 41 another appliance slot will unlock regardless of how many you currently have open at the time.

Yes once you reach level 73 you can have 18 appliances and then you have to pay with gems to unlock more appliances. 49 gems.
