I would assume (and we all know what that means!) the potential combos:
Blue/Yellow
Blue/Red
Green/Yellow
Green/Red
Yellow/Blue
Yellow/Green
Red/Blue
Red/Green

or

Jackpot: DIAMOND

Biology & animal husbandry classes were over 40-years ago so... a lot may have changed in the art of breeding dragons in that time ;-)

You make it a bit more complicated than it is, because the order of the colors doesn't matter, blue/yellow is the same as yellow/blue

So the potential pairings for a blue/green x yellow/red are:

blue/green
yellow/red
blue/red
blue/yellow
yellow/green
red/green
purple
diamond/Infinity

so basically any dragon except diamond hybrid or a magic hybrid (or the light dragons in the new dawn version)

But you can get both colors from only one dragon, which makes it that much harder to narrow down the possibilities :/

I just put my fairy and athletic (both epic) in the breeding den and got 2 days as breeding time. When i click on it, it says 44 gold to finish. Would that be a diamond or a diamond hybrid like gold or crusader?

Congrats, I believe that will be a Diamond. You can only breed hybrids using a Diamond.

How do I get the Wild???? Its the only one (besides the diamond) I just cant manage to get.

I got wild on my first try, I never knew it was rare. I got it when I played DS for the first time.
I used basic forest and fire.
You can usually get a rare dragon by using the basics. That's how I got Serpent, Athletic, and Seabreeze. I got them all on first try.
Remember, use commons and basics every so often.

I just got my 2nd Seabreeze from this combo; lv6 firestorm + lv6 Serpent while actually was hoping for a Diamond.

For me, the rarest non-Diamond dragon are Eagle and Atlantis --"

I got eagle on my first try. I just wish there was a record of what i bred to get each dragon

Serpent+Serpent=Atlantis 15 hrs
Poison+Coral=Atlantis 15 hrs
Island+Earth=Serpent 16 hrs
Magic+Coral=Wizard 22 hrs
Magic+Water=Wizard 22 hrs
Planet+Fire=Titan 32 hrs
Magic+Planet=Titan 32hrs
Magic+Fire=Titan 32 hrs
Earth+Water=Serpent 16 hrs
Atlantis+Misfire=Serpent 16 hrs
Earth+Water=Island 20 hrs
Fire+Earth=Life 3 hrs
Magic+Water=Coral 10 hrs

Magic is fire- water most common outcome. The only other dragon you can get is an Athletic.
