Farm has gotten to big

My farm has gotten to big and unmanageable Is there any way to restore it back to is orgianal settings

Could you fence off a couple of rows on however many sides you want to reduce your farm by, and just plant them out with flowers? That way you could plant and forget, and you have rows of flowers that look nice.

It would be nice now that my farm is so large to be able to tap and drag diagonally a large area to plant a specified crop. Tapping each space is getting real tiresome. It may lead me to giving up soon. It's a real unnecessary waste of effort.
