Unlocking past goals that are still locked

I've been playing restaurant and bakery story for a couple years now on my iPhone,recently started on my iPad,but can't figure out to unlock goals that have expired,, (example- the torch ice cream isn't unlocked on my ice cream machine),, isn't there anyway to unlock these items?

Unfortunately if the goals are expired you will not be unable to unlock them. You still see these items because if they were removed players who unlocked them would be unable to access them.
