Suggestions for what to buy with my 24 gems?

What is everyone's favorite thing to do with 24 gems?

I'm at level 96 with 9,960,700 coins, and a few expansions left to do...for which I have plenty of coins.

With the gems I've earned in this game so far I have purchased 2 magic boxes, a few random tables and chairs, accidentally expanded once for 40 gems, and accidentally opened an extra appliance slot. The rest were lost here and there to various things like finish cooking, etc.

Turns out I actually like the extra appliance slot and am contemplating opening up another with the 24 gems I have now accumulated. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? What do you like to get when you have 24 gems to spend?

I don't want to sit on earned gems because I've lost them so easily in the past and want to have control over how I spend them from now on.

I dont like to sit on gems either.

Level 97. I have opened over 25 boxes (maybe more, lost count) and used gems to max expand (i know thats *****ing). All of those boxes were opened long ago when i was much lower level. Obviously there are players who spend much more than i do. I havent opened a box in a very long time.

Ever since reaching 18 appliance slots Ive been using my gems (non-purchased, cooking mastery gems) on extra appliance slots. I am up to 18+8 appliance slots. I am almost up to another 24 gems. This will be my last 24 for a while since i have only a few recepes left to master.

I probably will just spend it on a 27th slot. It is boring but its guaranteed i will fall for a gem trap if i dont use them.

Its like going to a casino. I can either lose a few hundred dollars on a slot machine or table. Or i can go buy something nice for myself and walk home a winner.

Depends on how you like to play. If you like to decorate, maybe select a random box with a theme you like as Limaxa suggested. If you like to advance quicker you may want to think about using it to purchase the slot like tzvetkata suggested.

I decided to go with the appliance slot. It will help me keep food on my counters (why is that so hard at level 96?), and maybe help me reach 97 faster. I got another slot in Bakery too; I definitely do not need food there, but I am at 82 and it will help me level up to 96 faster.

Why don't u just do what I did today, save up 31 gems through game play and then have your 1 year old lean over your shoulder and crazy tap until 20 of your gems are spent on rubbish like buying coins. In other words SPEND THEM NOW before a gem trap bites you in the {} !
