I updated. If you can't get back on, you have to delete and reinstall the game. That's what I had to do.
Also whenever your download a new application or update from the application store, always restart your device before opening the game.

You will. I was terrified the first time I done it. But I held my breath deleted and reinstalled and when I opened my eyes I could breath easy cause it was just like I left it
