The island idea would be great, but only if it is small with only a few friendly occupants! Of course, it would have to have all the amenities, and little work to be done!
This would suit me just fine.
I like being around people, so it would definitely be in some type of metropolitan area. But not a New York or anything like that, which seems a little hectic. The Bay Area so far has been perfect.But I visited Chicago last summer and love it there.
