    Current Bugs and Issues for Pet Shop

    Current versions of the game:
    iOS - 1.1.4
    Android - 1.0.6.4
    Android- Soccer World- 1.0.6.4
    Android- Teachers Day- 1.0.6.4.
    Android- Springtime- 1.0.6.4.
    Android - Carnival- 1.0.6.4.

    Kindle Fire - Thanksgiving - 1.0.5.6
    Kindle Fire- 1.0.5.6

    Making sure you are using the most current version can help with many problems.


    When reporting a bug or glitch, please provide the following information:

    1. Your device (iOS, Android, please be as specific as possible) and it's version number(check under settings-device )
    2. Your games version (this can be found on the bottom of the Help/FAQ page)
    3. A description of the problem, and what you were doing when the problem occurred
    4. If possible, a screenshot of the problem

    iOS General Issues
    To check for your device version - go to Settings, General, About - Version
    To check for game version in game:
    Open game, go to Menu, Help/FAQ - on the bottom edge of the box, the version will be listed
    To check for game version if you can't open the game:
    Open App Store, search game name (or teamlava), click on app, on the left side, under the logo it will show current game version

    If your iOS device is having issues, make sure you've tried the following:
    Restart your device
    Delete and reinstall the game
    Hard restart - hold the power and home buttons, through the power off slider, until the Apple symbol appears.
    For newer devices (iPod Touch 4th Gen and newer, iPhone 3G and newer, all iPad versions [possibly other devices]) - close out background running apps. Double tap the home button, when the screen raises up, hold the app until it starts shaking. Press the red minus symbol to close.

    Android General Issues
    To check your device version - go to Settings, About Phone, Android Version *note - you can check for updates in About Phone, System Updates
    To check game version in game:
    Open game, go to Menu, Help/FAQ - on the bottom edge of the box, the version will be listed
    To check for game version if you can't open the game:
    Open App Market/Google Play, either go to My Apps, or search game name (or teamlava), click on app, open Description information, on the bottom it will show the current game version

    If your Android device is having issues, make sure you've tried the following:
    Restart your device
    Delete and reinstall the game *note - reinstalled games will need to be moved to the SD card again
    Move game to the SD Card - go to Settings, Apps, specific game, click "Move to SD Card" or "Move to Internal Storage"
    Clear cache - go to Settings, Apps, specific game, click "Clear Cache"
    You can use a task ****er/manager to help free up memory for your device

    Kindle General Issues
    To check for your device version - Go to Settings, More, Device, System Version
    To check game version in game:
    Open game, go to Menu, Help/FAQ - on the bottom edge of the box, the version will be listed
    To check for game version if you can't open the game:
    Open Amazon Market, search game name (or teamlava), scroll down to see current version

    If your Kindle is having issues, make sure you've tried the following:
    Restart your device
    Delete and reinstall the game
    Go to Settings, More, Applications - find your game, click, clear cache
    If you're not able to get into the game - Go go Settings, Wifi, turn wifi off then back on

    Forum Rules

    Transferring games - Several different ways to transfer. Make sure you have downloaded all TL games you want transferred before starting. You can not have only one game transferred, and leave others on the current device. And there is no option to play the same game with the same ID on multiple devices.

    Weekly Updates - Some will receive update on Thursday, some will get them on Tuesday. It has nothing to do with the device you are on.

    Notifications - Make sure the notification options are set to ON in BOTH the game settings and the device settings. If both settings are on, but you're still not receiving notifications, please send an email to support@teamlava.com so they can check you game.

    Blocked comments - currently not available in game. If you have received this message while trying to post on a players wall, it is most likely that your game is out of sync. Exiting out of the wall, then returning and posting again seems to clear it up.

    Stuck in Design Mode - seems to happen once in a while. You're just redesigning your place, and all of a sudden the little red X disappears. Exiting out of the game, and restarting your device tends to fix the issue.

    Purchased Gems not showing up - try restarting you device, and even deleting and reinstalling the app. Your progress is saved on TLs servers. If these do not work on returning your gems or item, then you would need to contact support@teamlava.com You will need to provide your ID, date of incident, type of transaction, and receipt of transaction.

    Blank screen for Gem Purchasing (iOS only) - See thread, it has the original suggestion, and a few other suggestions that do not involve restoring.

    Crashing on older devices - TL has been notified of the problem.

    About the forum - if you can't find a post you made - go to your profile, on the left side, look under "Find All Posts". Your post may have been in the wrong place, or merged with an existing thread. If you still can't find your post, you can file a Forum Dispute and a Community Manager will respond to you (the Dispute Forum is a private conversation between you and the CMs).

    Okay, so here is the problem. I have an iPad and my mom has one as well. We both play the pet shop story and we really enjoy it. The only problem that we have is that my mom has not once received a gem sale as I have received them definitely more than she has. She would appreciate the 20% rebate on gems as I receive, so if you can, please fix this problem for her. Her pet shop story Storm8 ID is jeannrob and her Pet Store name is Pretty Paws and she is currently on level 40. Please fix this problem for her, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    The gem sales go out randomly to different players and games. Hopefully she will receive one soon.

    when i opened up my pet shop today, it said i had -70,000 coins... well it was around 70,000 anyway i dont remember the exact number, and then wouldnt let me collect because it said that i didnt have enough coins. anyway so i deleted the game and re downloaded it, and then my coins went to 0!! i lost about 70,000 coins...and im upset because i was saving to breed the new pets...please help

    What is the version number of the game you are playing?

    We've seen a few reports of negative coins in Pet Shop. Our engineers have fixed the issue from happening further, and we're seeing what can be done about the accounts affected.

    Ok, if someone can help me with this, I will be SO thankful! My StormID is Nikibaby1981 and I'm playing Pet Shop Story (version 1.0.5.3) on my Kindle Fire. I have played Farm Story for a while now with no problems, but this game is driving me crazy!

    Here's my issue. When you play, you collect paws for experience points. When you visit neighbors or complete a goal, you collect those paws. Well, I do that. But, suddenly the game will decide to retract ALL experience paws that I've received that session. It's done it to me now 7 times over the last 5 days. Today is a perfect example. I logged into my game at about 4:35 PM (EST). I at that time was a Level 16 with 4,250 experience paws. I collected from my pets and met the goal of having a full family of Abyssinians. It put me to Level 17. I then visited a couple of neighbors and when I came back to my profile I was back to level 16 and my experience was down to around 4300. Ok, so I collected again and got up to level 17 again. Then I visited a few more neighbors and when I returned to my shop, I was BACK AGAIN to level 16 and my experience points had been subtracted again.

    I play this game to relax and wind down after a long day at work. However, I am SO frustrated at this occuring every day! I should at this point be halfway through Level 17, but I am currently STILL on Level 16.

    Oh, and my game will suddenly add about 8 goals, some of which I completed a while ago, but then also a few goals where I would get gems as a prize. Then it will say I'm out of sync with the game, will reload and I will lose the goals, my paws, my coins, and ALL progress. I'm losing it here, and ready to just delete the whole thing and send TeamLava a nasty note...help!!

    there is currently a glitch with the xps you receive when visting neighbors. You should only get 1 ,2 or 3 XPs when you visit. the game is adding an extra 0. So you will get say 20 xps instead of 2. When you exit the game, the game will reset and change your 20 to 2 xps.

    If you are close to a new level, when you visit neighbors the glitch may give you say 100 xps so it will push you to the next level.
    After you exit, it corrects the 100 xps to 10 so when you come back, you may go back down to the level you were at since technically you did not have enough xps to level up.
