24 hours for Undercover Mother quest??

The new quest, "Undercover Mother, Part 1", has a little tag on it saying "24 hours". Does this mean I only have 24 hours to complete all 6 stages? The clothes it's asking for in stage 1 take at least 16 hours to make (more if you don't have as many slots). How does this work?

OK just to be sure I'm clear: I'm currently working on Love is In the Air Part 9 (get a new dress, having ten dressing rooms, and collect appetizers). There is one more part to Love is in the Air, correct? So I don't have to start preparing for Undercover Mother just yet.
