New valentine's stuff

Ok, i'm getting a pop-up ad for the new valentine's day stuff. Do i have to install the valentine's day Restaurant story? Or will they have the new update in iTunes? Or will the new stuff automatically come onto my game? I've heard of some people downloading christmas restaurant story, Halloween restaurant story, etc. and they said that everything gets deleted and they had to start over. So im pretty hesitant about installing the Valentine's restaurant story. What do i do? Thanks

I've always played on the special versions and then gone back to the normal version after. I've never lost anything or had to restart, our games are saved under our storm8 ID's so we can't lose them. I think it's nice to have the valentines version as we have the special surroundings etc, and all the valentine items on that version.
