I've had problems placing appliances on RS, I think it may be to do with the pop up. Try placing somewhere with plenty of room, I move mine back after. When you click to purchase tap really hard in the middle and push downwards quite hard.
This usually works for me, it can take several attempts sometimes. I hope your able to place, it is frustrating and I've never had this happen in BS with any of the appliances. The appliances in RS without pop ups place so much easier too.
I had the same prob with a few of the appliances. touch and drag try this a few times and it works....... im on an ipod4
I too could not find BBQ Wings when the goal say to cook 35 of it.
