As per app description in itunes there is a statement which reads....

- Exchange secret recepies with friends!

How do we do this, we can exhance food with friends but not recipes, and certainly no secret ones that are not in the cook books. Is this another fake advert from TL or are there really secrets in game that we can exhange...

It was probably referring to the recepies that you are able to send to other players because not all people can make that food for example you have to be a certain lvl to make pot roast and stew so thats when its a secret to other players

Tosh nosh, I knew about pot roast on the day I installed the game, without doiong extra research so it's not really secret just not unlocked as you said. I guess its like their weekly updates for city story, just doesnt happen.
