Gifts!

I bought a couple animals that needed their habitats built, and up until 2 days ago, I haven't been able to receive gifts from my neighbors, even after I send a request to them, or ask them on their wall to send something to me, I never receive it. I know it's just not lazy neighbors because my boyfriend started playing to send me things, and I was sitting next to him when he sent me an item (grass seed) and I never got a notification saying that I received the gift, and my count on the screen that tells you what else you need didn't go up. I'm frustrated and don't know how to fix the issue. I have about 90 neighbors, and haven't gotten anything in days?! Really?

I have the same. I have 124 neighbours and if I receive 5 things a day it's a lot and I send requests and still receive nothing. Don't know what's up with that.
