No customers?

when i am on the home screen i use to be able to see all the customers coming in and out of the restaurant and eating there food. Now that i have reached level 10 i cant see any of my customers coming in and watching them eat the food. For some reason when i leave the game and come back later it tells me that i have made a certain amount of money while i am away but when i look on the homescreen there are no customers coming in and out

please i really need help fast

Haven't you placed any items for the door? That could be a barricade and your costumer can't come into your restaurant
