Do you just visit neighbors and leave a post for watering? I see a watering can on the bottom right of screen.....do you have to do something with this icon to water? I just want to do this right.

You tap on an un-watered crop (crops without the water drops above it), it will tell you to tap again to water. The number on the water can is how many crops you can water for the day (neighbors = 10; those not your neighbors = 5)

once watered u dont have to leave a comm behind as the game does this for u once watered.

2) if you don't comment then the only way for others to get to water your farm is if you show up on their community list or are their neighbors (which is why a lot will comment they watered your farm on your wall so that others will go to their farm who visit that particular wall).
