Is this like the Valentines edition, runs parallel to regular FS? Cant see it my itunes store yet, would love to see some more screen shots and info on new features/bugs.

Ok, that explains why the iOS content needed a App Store update.

Does the Halloween version have the halloween content in it that was released for about an hour last week to some people (e.g., flying bat, mummy sheep, etc), or does it just have candy corn, frankenduck, and gnomenstein like the weekly release today?

You can play both games. all your content from regular farm goes to Hallow game but in the regular farm story you cannot plant candy corn. you have to plant in Hallow version.
