Do I actually need tables in nightclub story or only chairs? I just started this one so I'm not sure what the customers need ...

Tables are just as useful as floor decorations: just an object.

As far as I'm aware, you don't need either. You just need accessable bars to put the drinks on and dancefloors for tips.

Tables and chairs are not needed in NCS.
Compulsory items are:

• Accessable bars for drinks
• Mixers to make the drinks
• Dance floor for tips
• DJ set for music.

You don't need dancefloors. But if you don't have them, you can't get tips and collect extra coins.

Yes, of corse I recommend that all players have dancefloors in order to level up and collect coins a bit faster.
