How do I change the direction in which my decorations are facing?

I saw that people changed the direction of their brick tiles & stuff. How do they do it? Also, how [if possible] do I change the view of the screen?

The brick tiles change when placed automatically to create a pattern, folk have just got creative in how many they place and where. As for everything else, TeamLava have announced that a rotate feature is on its way via a future patch.
