oh thank you so much for posting that! I've gone back to the event info I'm provided and there are 2 entries for the Samurai Kappa, and so you're right, there are 2 bridge toll.

I think I'm stopping where I am; craft 3 crossing shields. I just can't log in every 90 minutes to get 2 lilies to craft one item when 18 crafts are needed on this step. It's been a very long time since I've had to opt out of an event. Even if I wasn't extremely busy, I'm not sure I could exert the effort. Maybe I could if I knew I'd be able to craft 2 items every collection.
Same here, I’m reevaluating the resources needed for the Samurai Kappa, i can’t see a way to do it without LIVING in the game and that’s not for me. PLUS, without knowing what the Samurai Kappa drops are, I’m not interested in devoting this much time and effort for a basic dropper. He would need a 1 day timer with guaranteed trade ticket and/or expansion permit. I have plenty of crop droppers and they aren’t worth this.
Do we know what the Samurai Kappa drops?
The pop ups from the start of the event (seen on pg. 1) say that the Samurai Kappa is a citizen, so no drops.
Looks like the Red Maple Trees are now 1000 instead of 6000 coins which makes more sense for only 10 chops. Hope this lasts and isn?t just a one day sale or something. Sucks that I?ve wasted so many coins already getting them at 6000?
Where do I make the cucumber baskets? It?s not in my workshop or forge??
