I don’t understand how to get the coins. I have tapped my pets but no coins appear.

Me too. I've tapped old ladies and no coins? I did it last year with the penguins and got two. I stayed up all night hunting. I'm will to skip Christmas to collect, but not if I don't get coins. I should have six or seven by now. I've already put all my animals in sleeping mode because the ladies are really tiny and hard to see.

I think it just dropped early and that's why it's not working. I want to say the last one was on New Year's weekend. It really makes no sense to have a intensive event during a time when a lot of people, like me, will turn off electronics to spend time with family.
