What Happened to Fair Play?

The events in both Bakery and Restaurant story are so long and repetitive. There is no way I can finish an event without spending money! I don’t know about everyone else, but I can’t afford to keep buying gems, especially since they’re not even a good deal. All the good decor items also cost gems. I can’t even decorate my bakery or restaurant anymore!
