Hello Neighbors,

Here are the simplified directions to complete the new Open Arms Dragon Tales event. Not only are the chapters and acts listed, I also put in the supplies needed and how many times the Impartial Dragon has to be sent on missions. I hope it helps all of you to get the Ambit Dragon. With no further ado, here's the chapters and I divided them up by levels.

Note: You can level up the Impartial, Eventide and Comprisal Dragons to their required levels early and they'll count. For most players Impartial needs to be at level 14, Eventide to level 12 and Comprisal to level 6.
***If you are below level 80, then look at your level listing to see required levels for your dragons.***

Note: You can breed Comprisal Dragon early (Breed pink and yellow - a difficult combination but breedable. Unfortunately, Sunrise can come out of pink and yellow once again.) and it will count when asked in Chapter 6.

Note: Got Comprisal on the 2nd try with Air and Unicorn after a Love fail. It shocked me. I thought I'd be caught up with 2 of my least favorite dragons (Sunrise and Laserlight) for sure. For Comprisal, look for the egg below:

For the life of me, I will never figure out why S8 can't figure out that the habitat they release should match up with what we are breeding for. For instance, this week we are breeding pink and yellow, so we will have yellow, pink, red, and white fails that need to be hatched somewhere. So what does the new habitat hold? Blue and purple. Last week, we were breeding purple and green, so of course the availalbe habitat held red and yellow. I mean, why wouldn't it? The people making decisions about this game *obviously* don't play the game. The Chromatide Dragon that we bred last week, the previously mentioned purple and green dragon we were breeding for, didn't look good in the red and yellow and rainbow habitat Warm Hinterland. it looks great in the new Cool Copse habitat that holds purple and blue. They should have released the habitat that matched the dragon when we were breeding for that dragon. *head desk*

Trying to breed blasted tales dragon and also do breeds for bingo is awful and it seems the bingo breeds rarely match colors needed for tales breed.

I will try a bit more today then throw in towel and just hope S8 gives BIG points in next LB so i can earn the monthly dragon. Just 3 events in a month, thats not easy and this tales the first chapters give 240 rather than the higher 260 in short event months.

So far i have bred 1 justice, 2 firemane, 2 hoot, 2 wooden, 2 butterfly, 1 athletic, 2 firestorm, 3 love, 1 laserlight, 1 honeybee, 1 partheon, 1 powershine. Sigh. Gee S8 why can't you give players a break?

Still though, I like that the Tales event is available for the many players who do enjoy them. I think the Glasswing dragon is worth the effort! But, technically, I could just buy it for 300 gems and skip the rest of this nonsense. But I would also like to get teh Ambit dragon. I can live without Eventide. I have never liked that dragon model.

I've said this before many times and I'll say this again - NO "common" dragon should have a 24 hour breeding time. Storm8 or whomever owns the company now, please retire the Sunrise Dragon or reduce its time down to the length of an actual sunrise, which is on average 2 hours to 2.5 hours. Nah, better yet, discontinue it altogether. If you guys can do that with dragons in the past such as Aether, Party and Peppermint Mocha, I am pretty sure you can retire this one.
I'll also make the point again of too many common dragons. Why not retire all common dragons after their events end? We have the codex for those nostalgic collectors. The commons are littering the breeding process for future dragons and is part of the reason why the technical problems are going on in the game.

Being that I was kind of in a fog waking up in the middle of the night, I mistakenly bred Impartial with Eventide and it counted that act as complete. I didn't realize the mistake until I had to wait to win 1 fight with Eventide and was like, uh oh. I don't know whether that's a one time mistake on both myself and S8's parts or the super rare dragon can indeed be substituted for the common dragon but I'm going to experiment with this on the next Dragon Tales and may adjust the directions regarding this act.

I love the Eventide egg! It reminds me of a desert sunset. I wish there were a way that we could save and display eggs in this game.

For the longest time I didn't know that in Bingo tasks, you can expand with marble keys, and it counts for "expand with mystic maps," and you can mine for dragons instead of "mine for 2 island parts." So a few things are interchangeable, I guess.
