It's the icon on the right hand bar area not the goal book. It started with MM mini event. Maybe scroll in that area up or down to see it?
Yep, I've closed out a few times and scrolled up and down. I do not have an event. I do have an icon that says 2 days, but when I click on it, all it says is to particpate in Madam Makeda's event. There is no place to earn points or anything like that.

You need to be at least level 25 if not more to be able to participate in the Realm Master.
