I?ve tried to be informative about all aspects of this mini game. I am now working on the energy droppers. I have one each of the kitsuncorn (daily 5+ energy) and the crystal fox (20 or 40 energy on 5 day timer). I?m now working on getting one of the alicorn, which I believe are a weekly 40energy dropper.

I do most of mine while waiting for crafts to finish or waiting for drops, like current event, from items like Ivy?s Hut.
Some pages ago I did a comprehensive overview of my path through the available crafts and actions, however i it?s up to individual players to do what they wish with this story. There are very few items that we need to collect from for events that will spawn goblins and as for other items that spawn them, if possible park a monster during regular play, which stops the random spawning from items like amphitheatres, theatres, Thurston?s fort etc.
I say do or not do this mini event but please consider that some of us do play it and like it, especially given the high level resources such as trade tickets, expansion permits etc that are rewards for summoning most of the early items. I will continue till I have all available energy droppers and hope that more various items will then become available in time.
I used to find I was limited by blue crystals - now suddenly I am always short on orange crystals. Are there any tips on how to balance out when orange is the shortfall? (When blue was the shortfall, I would simply do that middle trade in the wagon.) I hate maxing out on anything, LOL.
I'm kinda just getting into this but it seems like the goblins that I spawned from the mushrooms raised my orange crystals. I've since put those mushrooms away because it was becoming tedious so like someone earlier posted I'm mainly doing the Crystal trade and using the baby goblins I crafted. ( wish I could craft more).

I'm going for the Alicorns. Long term goal.
I do a couple of extra mushroom spawned goblins as they only give purple and orange crystals. Mostly I do lots of crystal trades and they seem, to keep my orange crystal higher than blue ones, so much so that I can occassionally do the wandering (middle) trades which sometimes gives nuggets or I’ve even had a gem. But of course it’s up to individual players to do it their way.

So I think that if I’m full on purple I do travellers trade, and there’s only one place to use blue crystals, and a shortage of orange (which can be somewhat remedied by spawning from mushroom circles or doing crystal trades, and at least with crystals we have week long crystal trades and 8 hr spawning from summoned goblins and crafted baby goblins. We also have the option each weekend to either play it or not, same as in-event monster hunt as this past weekend.
