This happened to me with the Saturn stool in bakery story. It has to be a bug in the coding of the game(s) and not a problem on your end. I highly doubt they would do this on purpose. I noticed in restaurant story with the new goal chair..it doesn't even face towards the table when you place it next to a table.. usually they automatically face the table but with this one..nothing. I think we'd have to contact support through the game and bring it to their attention.
