I purchased 530 gold (on sale) for $13.99, received confirmation, but then there was some glitch. When resuming the game, my gold didn't appear.

Unfortunately the forum can't help with gem issues. You need to lodge a Support ticket. Provide your proof of purchase or anything else which would be useful. Might take around a week given it's the holidays. Click here to contact S8 Support.
