I just want to make sure I?m understanding this correctly - Catrina is a pet and Sugar Skully Dancer is just a decoration? And this is one of those events where we need to decide where to give the items we make - either for Catrina or Sugar Skully Dancer (unless we make extra items)?

You can get one or both.
The event is two weeks long.
Catrina is an Exotic Pet.
But Sugar Skully Dancer is an animated decoration.... dancing too.

I'll be skipping this event and catching up on expansions. I will be selling all event items fyi. Hopefully we get a more traditional Halloween event towards the end of October. I'd like some new Halloween items besides dancing monsters and green goop lol.

This looks like a D?a de Muertos event maybe. If so, I wonder why it didn't happen later on in the month.

Though there's been prior complaints on other games of theirs in the past that have mentioned wanting to see themed holiday/festive events at least weeks to a month before the day happens. So maybe that's it? Who knows.

I got Catrina and I love her! Thanks so much for doing a sugar skull event, it’s my favorite Halloween celebration!

She’s next to my haunted house if u want to see! Going for the other one too! Blowing my mind that people hate sugar skull but whatevs.

About the prior pairing I had in mind. It's not the worst but the Skull stands out due to not having any white over in that area really. So I'll probably leave the Sugar Skelly Dancer in the cellar instead.

N e way, I bought another Catrina Crossing Sign. I may buy 2 more, I may not. Not exactly sure sure yet.

I love this theme and Catrina is adorable. Unfortunately, I used all of my resources on the Watermelon building expansion and need to save my coins back up.

I used up all my coins to expand right before the event. I managed to sell a few things out of storage to get some money. Most of the things were from much older events. I wonder why the things we collect in storage can’t be sold off for some extra coins? Even in other games they let you sell stuff off for like 10% of what you paid for. Why are so many items only sold for zero dollars? I had a couple of buildings I sold off for 15,000 each, other stuff just 100 coins but it helped me buy more tribute tables at least. I almost have the bones dancer complete. I’m happy the cost of the tables is lower than the usual tho, that helped a lot. Thanks.
