They did have a Gems with Gift sale some time back that I missed, where The Mysterious Man was a "gift." One of his random drops that you could gather once every eight hours was Council Scrolls.

Yeah, i am pretty sure it was academy scrolls, not the new ones. Like, noooo thank you. I DEFITITELY do not need crowns and I only need 80 more scrolls for my last academy character. I will collect one per week from my academy flower before i spend 450 gems to collect. Yikes!

Wonder if someone got the language mixed up and meant Council Scrolls for the Council Chamber on the Island.

Don't know why S8 wouldn't be offering something for the new characters that were just unlocked in The Council Chamber. How many new goals have we had since they were introduced & not a single scroll offered yet!

The Council storyline is mainly for advanced players - most of whom are permanently locked out with the current bug.
Makes sense Storm8 is releasing content (ie Crowns and Scrolls) for lower level players and ignoring longer term achievements.

I would not recommend any player purchases the new buildings unless for decoration.
Crowns and Scrolls become useless once you play for a while.
