The Council storyline is mainly for advanced players - most of whom are permanently locked out with the current bug.
Makes sense Storm8 is releasing content (ie Crowns and Scrolls) for lower level players and ignoring longer term achievements.

I would not recommend any player purchases the new buildings unless for decoration.
Crowns and Scrolls become useless once you play for a while.

Ditto. I don?t even remember being offered the Mysterious Man, and would love the opportunity to buy him as I would like to do the council?s tasks. I?ve got no other items in my to do list so looking for something to do. I can only redecorate my queendom so many times till it?s just a boring chore. Shame that so many long-term players seem to be of lesser value to S8, especially as so many have spent lots of real money on this game, and are currently locked out.

Crowns have been a nothing prize in MH?s for yrs now, then to add to the nonsense new walker decorations are being sold for gems. What?s the point of the crowns I just earned from HM LB event? And 450 gems is a bit extreme for items that will quickly become irrelevant except for their look for decoration purposes.

Hope the problems are soon fixed before loads of players who have been here for yrs give up the ghost and give up on CS permanently.
