The reward Gnome is called Poppy - she has 4 h timer ( 16 gem to speed up).

After you upgrade mine to level 10 - all Gnomish Forge crafts go away:
Plot L3 Did become available - but I had to force close the game to be able to expand there.

After part 4 you just get single simple goal:
You have to do the reunion and then I had to go to the candy castle part below in the new expansions to light up the arrow than it openedOriginally Posted by Destiel0918

Also - EXPANSION PLOT L3 is STILL CLOSED- and can't be opened. This option just vanished.

It was a bug- it opened for me after force closing. And I haven't visited Poppy for reunion yet.

I wonder why we'll need Poppy's drops. But, I'm sleepy and tired so maybe missing something....
I think that currently we don't need them for anything. But if it is anything like mermaid storyline - perhaps there might be some craft in Mythic research center- which requires gnomish items during monster hunt crafts.
I hope so. Because otherwise this feels awfully unfinished and disappointing
