I?ve just realised the part 3 says to finish crafting and hatch the cameo dragon
I?ve already put mine on the nest so have I screwed up or will it still count?

It should work since you can't go back and get more cameo markers. I do know when it says to craft and place a decoration you can craft ahead of time but do not place till it says so. I have done this in the past I do feel for you.

Will have to spend gold to skip otherwise but a waste of gold
I guess it?ll teach me to look ahead on the tasks more though

It's fine! The sooner you hatch the dragon, evolve it, and start sending it on quests the better!! You should not place decorations ahead of time, but dragons are fine to hatch!

Sorry no it won't count. Same as when it says craft and place a decoration you can craft ahead of time but do not place till it says so. I have done this in the past I do feel for you.

YES IT WILL COUNT..I do it every Tales event, I have mine evolving to level 7 and I will just be starting Chapter 3 tomorrow, doing the dragon ahead is fine.But the decorations must not be put out until instructed to.

You can also breed,hatch and evolve the required common ahead as well and it will count.

I just did part 3 and it did work
Good to know I don?t have to wait to level up and evolve it too as these gaps between chapters are long

I had originally thought she had breed and hatched coronation then realized she ment the other I went back and tried changing it but instead posted it new.

So I can breed and hatch coronation ahead of time and it will count?

Aww I got excited as I had a 4 hour egg I couldn?t find but it was the cache dragon

Hatch a common Coronation Dragon (Breed black + yellow).
I am going to use Night and Air
First Try - 21 hours

Ok this is going to be my adventure with this Dragon Tale!
I will update this post.

Chapters One and Two were completed with no problems.
Looks like breeding Black and Yellow can give like 38 different dragons.

I gemmed ahead to chapter three and have completed it!
Cameo is an Eight Hour Egg
This way I can evolve Cameo to level needed!
Cameo is evolving to level 6 - Thursday Morning

Notes to Self:
I started other breeding Den for a 100 gems
I have been speeding up breeding with gems and using boosts.
Cost of skipping Cornation Dragon is 50 gems
Cost of skipping breeding with Cornation Dragon is 50 gems
So need to consider what route to take in future Tales.
Problem is I love the surprise of breeding.

I got the coronation dragon with the emberglow and oriole dragons on 1st try
