I feel the same way. I love the waffle iron (it's very cute, and the idea of a waffle maker appliance later down the road would be awesome), but it's sad that the artists chose to invest more in the "prep" stage and less so on the countertop presentation. This goal was a prime opportunity for the artists to go all-out with the presentation styles (Heart-shaped platters! Pretty pink cake stands! Recipes dusted with powdered sugar in a heart shape! Red and pink sprinkles!!) but instead it fell completely flat. Enough with this trend of minimized duplicated food plates in trays, PLEASE!!! (It's not even trendy!)Originally Posted by Aetherreality

Even a lovely stack of pancakes on a simple tray would be LOADS better than a tray of mini plates you can barely see. Some inspiration for what we could have gotten instead:
