Yes, me too. I don't need Aspens , willows or Fangbeasts either.
It's easier to buy the tall trees, as you don't have to water them.
The White Ox gave me a fertilizer as well as a Gently Chewed Grass.
I've spent thousands of dollars on Storm8 games, but I'm still not valued by the company.

Good reminder. I started following ShibuyaCloth’s advice many months back and have been making flyger cubs like crazy. I am up to 18 which is a far cry from ShibuyaCloth’s 99 but still helps.
I second this! I always keep one around so I can drag out the other 4 when I need coal, FAST!
I got 15 and so far it seems like a good number. Probably get 10 grass every time.
Just fyi, ponds and wells also drop giant wood. I'm trying to keep up my white petal and water up to make living wood. Not sure if it's on purpose or because a monster will spawn from them later, but hey, free giant wood. XD
I got 11 then another 11 I reckon they look like a row of Irish dancers, well a bit! I got 8 from first 11, then 6 from 2nd 11. I should have stopped after 10 grass and upgraded as then they start dropping the threshed grain. And yes the flygers are great, I have 99 as well, no problems with coal, and flying machines give living wood as well.
Adding: looks like we only needed the 1 bag of threshed grain to lure the blue ox calf.
