I'm not getting Fighting Fish barely at all. Have collected over 20 times from ponds and hollows and have only gotten fighting fish twice. Spawned the flame thrower twice as well.

Ditto, but I only got one fighting fish in 40 collections.

You skip the goal for 2 gems when it appears and that?s supposed to give you an Enchanted Wrap. The opportunity disappears once you make a collection from Ivy?s hut because you?d have completed the goal and no longer have the opportunity to skip it.

Earlier, I collected from Ivy and started the craft with the enchanted wrap.
Then there was a silent resent, that I didn't notice for hours.
The craft was still going, but the "Visit Ivy"-goal was unchecked again...
So I would have to wait 12 hours to collect from Ivy again.
Now, this is solved with 2 gems and a bonus of an extra enchanted wrap

I Am getting better drops for fighting fish from my rustic wells... they also spawn the Flame Thrower too

Generally you choose one final prize and their associated pet. If you want the other you CAN buy it with gems.

The Steampunk Wizard's mechanical arm switches from his left to his right depending on the side his enemy is standing on. Since the other arm is non-mechanical, I'd thought that it should be fixed on either side. Perhaps that's what makes him a wizard

Don't forget to buy the Enchanted Wraps for 2 gems before collecting from Ivy's Hut! Regular price is 20 gems.

Thanks for posting this, I was able to see this and get the enchanted wraps for 2 gems!!

So according to the goals posted we don?t need to make & give any food like pasta, hearty feast, etc for this event. Is this right or did I just skip over that part?
