Out of the 20+ regular pets I have,

About 5 of them can go into the River Habitat

Speaking of, if Storm8 did ever offer the Fishing Bear on the market, it would be the first regular pet I go out my way to buy.

can the blossom fawn go into the fawn meadow?

there are so many pets for the wildlife den but you can have only 4 dens. no other habitat can compare to the wildlife den. ratio.

I didn't see Beach Buffalo on this list. It can go in the wildlife den or the summer pool

Is there a trick to selling a habitat? I got the turkey cornucopia and it's too big.

Is there a trick to selling a habitat? I got the turkey cornucopia and it's too big.

If you are playing on an Apple iOS device you can store them in your cellar.
Habitats cannot be sold.

If you are playing on an android device Habitats cannot be stored.
Your only option is to contact support then ... link at bottom of this post and maybe they can remove the habitat for you.
