Bingo randomly expires

I had a bingo step that was ?harvest 20 rushrooms? that I decided to use a 5x farm boost on. I harvest 7 of them and then plant my next 7, and when I come back 15 minutes later the challenge has expired. I should?ve had 4-5 hours or whatever it is to complete the challenge.

This isn?t the first time this has happened and I imagine that it?s been reported many times. Why does it do this?
