Finished the event this morning. I had waited for the autostart as I usually do with Storybooks. Ethylle is now ensconced in my Faerie compound and looks to be a complaining mother in law interrupting the faerie wedding.

I really enjoyed this event. I waited for the auto start which I don't usually do, but certainly worked out well.
I got to benefit from all the wonderful tips in the forum. Even with some silly mistakes, I finished, yeah!
Thanks to all my great neighbours. I really was expecting trouble with those requests but in the end had them all in about 5 hours, by sending only to my active friends, in small lots. Once I got to 17 and it stalled I still had some sure responders to send to. That worked for me.

This is a known bug and probably everyone is getting it.
I don't know what causes it, but I heard the following theory here a couple of days ago :

When you select your first neighbors, there is a small roll back, and you have to select those same neighbors again.
Because you've 'selected them twice', you get this message for these neighbors.
But I don't know if it means they didn't get it. I would just ignore it in the future.

I gathered it?s a bug, as it always happens on the events, only got 17 😕 with less than an hour to go. Had considered using gems to speed up the coins and the elixir but I won?t have enough
