Do I need to keep doing short adventures after the first one to get the sword? Are there more swords to gather from adventures later on, or can I go back to a long adventure, and just concentrate on petals and farmhouses?

I am confused as to which cloud to buy I have a few of each but am getting only lightening stones,not cloud stones from both types Which type should I buy to get cloud stones ,cloud or small cloud ? Also is there anything to expect from chopping the sky shard ? I only got white petals and mushrooms from the first one I chopped .
First Expansion Requirements:
Find the Elven Bow (mine was checked off)
Have 1600 Royal Points
Spend 120000 Coins
Use 10 Wisp Lanterns
Second Expansion Requirements (the plot to the direct left of the first):
Have 1800 Royalty Points
Pay 160000 Coins
Use 13 Wisp Lanterns
Use 1 Expansion Permit
Third Expansion Requirements (the plot to the direct left of the second):
Gather Cloud Stones 0/25
Give Cloud Stones to Adamir 0/25
Give Lightning Stones to Adamir 0/250
Goal 9 of Part 1 is the Third Expansion
Addendum:
The above Third Expansion to the plot with the Temple of Storms is a pre-quel to open the Third Expansion.

Have 2200 Royalty Points
Pay 220000 Coins
Use 15 Wisp Lanterns
Use 1 Expansion Permit

Just got three Cloud Stones along with Lightening Stones from my 24 clouds, both big and small.
